Associations

REGISTER AN ASSOCIATION WITH IPA

Associations are registered entities made up of a group of people who share a similar vision, goal(s) and objectives in a community.

You can register an Association with IPA now by mobilizing your group to embrace development and help combat issues and challenges facing your community.

You can beneft from donor funding, government funding and other support if you can organize your group by firstly registering yourself with IPA (Investment Promotion Authority).

REQUIREMENTS

In order to register an Association, you will require the following;

  • Registration Form (Download Section)
  • Association Constitution (we do it for our clients for FREE)
  • Registration Fee (K650)
  • Publication Fee (the two daily newspapers have their own fees, ranging from K450 to K500)

    My people are in a SOS situation.

    We are being evacuated and are living in care centers due to the Mt Ulawun 2023 Eruptions. We need to immediately register an association to source funds and permanent services such as permanent care centers and/or re-location homes.

    If there are steps that would delay our registration, please kindly exempt us from that and assist us to immediately register our association. We have formed a committee and prepared our fees and other funds to pay any charges for such.

    I am trying to help the youths in my ward start a company to bid for cleaning and maintainance contracts within our LLG. The idea is to have a company of youths who cut grass and clean roadsides, as the town council is understaffed and ineffective. What specific forms will I have to fill and what lisences do I have to apply for?

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    My clan had formed up and want to register an association and we already filled out the association registration form. Please kindly advise if I can register online and how much is the fee.

      Association Registration fee is K650. We will send you the forms as soon as you make payment. We will provide you with Association Constitution which is required in the registration, we will also assist you with the TIN registration and bank account openning.
      There are some fees for media publications in the daily newspaper which you can pay yourself.
