It was Christmas Day, 2018, that the news about this young Papuan girl from Central Province of Papua New Guinea came to the limelight with a very powerful voice.

Within a number of weeks, Beix’s magnetic voice has reached over 4 million views (20 million views by August, 2023) on YouTube, and counting every day. It’s a superstar in the making!
Beix is the younger sister of the male singer, Makali whom the band derives its name from. It is actually a duet.
Millions of people around the world are calling her; Magnetic Voice, The Shining Star, Gifted, Unbelievable, Raw Talent, Voice that is Sharp and Crystal-clear and millions of other accolades keep coming.
The song is a Pacific Blues version of Before the Next Teardrop Falls. The second part of the song is sung in Motu.
Their music is produced by Penekovu Tanikiu.
Before the Next Teardrop Falls is an American country and pop song sung many times by other artists. However, the Mexican singer, Freddy Fender’s version is famous up to this day.
Freddy Fender’s official video of the song has 14 million views and Biex’s is hitting 4 million within weeks already. It’s a milestone! A bomb!
