With a fee of K300, we will register your business with IPA and help you to obtain an IRC TIN (Tax Identification Number) certificate from IRC.

You will need both certificates to open your SME Bank Account at any bank of your choice. We will assist you in opening your SME bank account as well.

REFUND POLICY

We have a refund policy where we can make refunds for IPA work that we are unable to process even after some time.

However, we cannot do any refunds for IPA work that is completed while TIN Application or IPA Registration is pending with the relevant government agencies.

This is because by then, all funds will have been committed to your work as we pay people (freelancers) to do your work regardless of whether the work is completed or not. We have nowhere to recouping the money.

That means you will have to wait until the TIN certificate is delivered either emailed by us or to be collected in person through your nearest IRC Tax Office.

The same rule applies for IPA certificates.

While we are working on your IPA Online Registration, if you go ahead and gotten the job done yourself without us knowing, we cannot give full refund because, by then we will have committed funds to our freelancers to work on your IPA work already.

    9. Dear Sir/Madam,

      I got three queries;

      1. Would like to renew our IPA business name but I note requirements under “Category 2” to provide letter of authority on business letterhead unfortunately we don’t have a logo hence no letterhead. Can we still write a letter of authority so long as the owners sign and provide IDs and we can renew using your online portal?

      2. For a first time SME owner should they register a business or a company? What’s the difference between registering a business and a company?

      3. Need to rearrange the owners listed from the top head to bottom.. Please confirm dose this affect the line of authority?

      Example: have my youngest child as owner 1 and oldest child as owner 2, I want to change that to have my older child as owner 1 and younger as owner 2.Can we change it or it’s still okay as it is ?

      • Just write a letter and sign. Send together with your valid ID. We will sort the rest.
        Company has Directors and shareholders while businesses only have owners. It’s advisable for startups to register as businesses and later, as they grow, can convert to companies.
        The orders of ownership does not mean anything.

      I have a query regarding the amendment of business activities. We registered our company already and obtained the TIN certificate already but we have an issue to collect our COC and we were advised by IRC to do amendment to our business activities. Please advised will it be possible to do amendment to our business activities.

        We can do Amendments for you to the details of your business but IPA doesn’t allow changes to the Business Name. You can alternatively register a new one.

      • Dear Lisa, both must be registered separately. Each business activity must be registered separately. However, if the activities are somewhat similar, you can register as a trading business. That means your Business Name should sound something like; APOLOS TRADING. That way, you can do auto parts and trade store together.

      • Dear Sinaka, one Business name is for one type of Business. You cannot perform all business types with one business registration. You will have to register individual businesses for each business type.
        A company registration can cater for various business types under one company.
        However, you can register a trading business and perform all retail activities under one business name. For example; MANDANI TRADING.

      • Business Names should have the nature or type of Business activity included in the name, Example; RJ FARMING or RJ VANILLA PRODUCERS
        Company Names can be any name but must have the words LIMITED or LTD at the end.
        With Business name, you must concentrate on that particular business only. Otherwise, register individual Business Names for each business type that you own.
        Whereas with a company, you can do various types of businesses under the company.

    43. I have registered a company with three directors, but my name is not on the extract as the owner of the company, at the same time the TIN certificate of mine is not with me as well. The 3 directors names are on the extract with their TIN certificate copies. So could you advise me, how do I get my name registered on both company extract and the TIN certificate from IRC and advise me, how much do I need to pay for those 2 missed out documents. Thank you
